House of Dosas presents an interesting array of dosas from the Kadapa kitchen. The dosas are served with the regular coconut chutney and Erra Karam chutney. Erra Karam chutney is spicy red chutney made of onions and red chilli.

The menu has a long list of different varieties of dosas. Recommendation from Chef include Dip Idly, Erra Karam Dosa with Bombay Chutney, Udakapettina Karam Dosa.

Dip Idly is fully dipped in Ghee. smeared with karam podi and served hot. The combination of Erra Karam with Bombay Chutney pasted on a dosa and served as “Erra karam Dosa with Bombay Chutney” is awesome. Bombay Chutney is basically a ‘basen chutney’ which is prepared as a combination of besan powder, udar dal, mustard seeds, tamarind paste, curry leaves & green chilli. The blend of erra karam with bombay chutney is amazing. “Udakapettina Karam Dosa” has dosa topped with steamed spicy green chutney made of onions & green chillies.

Keeping in mind the current trend of Pizza Dosas, Chef recommends the specialties Mexican Pizza Dosa and Nutella Chocolate Dosa. Mexican Pizza Dosa is topped with baked beans and chopped bell peppers, onions, tomatoes & jalapenos. The crust of the pizza dosa will be little hard so that it can hold the heavy toppings; you can top it up with chilli paste and make it more spicy. For the chocolate lovers, HOD comes up with their special Nutella Chocolate Dosa wherein the dosa is slathered with nutella & topped with ferrero rocher.

While the dosas & idlies are served all day, special snacks are served in the evening, which include Gunta Ponganalu and Tapilentalu. Gunta Punganalu is made of dosa batter & cooked using a mould. Gunta ponganalu taste good along with erra karam chutney. Tapilentalu is a typical Kadapa wada made of rice flour, onions, green chillies and moong dal.
