Amnesia

Amnesia, the happening lounge bar located in the most happening party zone – Jubilee Hills, is THE place to unwind and enjoy the evening with good music & food over a bunch of drinks. Being a lounge bar, Amnesia is furnished with the best sound system, youthful ambiance, live music and balcony seating.

Initially, I had my own presumptions about the taste of food since it is usual that the staff at lounge bars serve their best cocktails & mock-tails, and concentrate less on food. But, Amnesia proved me wrong. Amazing food, good loud music and innovative cocktails prove that Amnesia has all the attributes to be one of the best lounge bars in Hyderabad.

We started off the evening with a bunch of cocktails & mocktails. The special skills of the bartender in churning out amazing range of classic cocktails & mocktails is commendable. Be it the watermelon puree blended with soda and served in the watermelon itself or the pineapple puree mixed with vodka are enticing.

Speaking about food, my top picks are Mutton Galouti, Prawns Sesame, Chicken Nuggets, Peri Peri Chicken Wings, Malai Broccolli, Paneer Makhni French Fries, Cheese Corn Roll, Paneer Makhni Tacos and Mushroom Galouti.

Mutton galouti had the right blend of minced meat & spices and crafted to perfection. Prawns sesame toast could not have been better – Minced prawns paste blended with spices and pasted on bread and deep fried until they are golden brown. Spicy Chicken Nuggets, served hot & spicy satisfied the palate.

Cheesy garlic bread and cheese corn rolls are the cheese lovers delight. Fusion of cheesy fries with cubes of paneer is good. The Desi Tacos had a generous filling of gravy smeared paneer is good.

After having such a scrumptious moctails and starters, I had the whiskey infused pizza – 90ml of whisky smeared on pizza enhances the flavour of cheese and is a delight to taste; while the veg sliders were okayish, the crispy chicken in the chicken sliders, loaded with cheese is awesome.

Amnesia, being a lounge, I did not have expectation on getting a good biryani here. To my surprise, the chicken biryani was awesome. The spice levels were high and the tenderness of the chicken leg piece was good.

As always, ended the sumptuous meal with an array of alcohol infused ice-creams. Vodka fusioned with Pine apple ice cream, Anjeer Badam Ice cream and Black current was bliss.
